Citizens and Farmers Bank operates thirteen branches throughout Virginia and offers services that include Internet banking, personal and business banking, and mortgage and investment services. With plans to expand its branch locations and enter new markets, the company wanted to improve their intranet by replacing its existing one.

Sandra Fryer coordinated the project and searched for an intranet product that would meet the company's needs. She remarks, "I did some comparison shopping for several products. Sandra believes that having them accessible online reduces the cost of printing and distributing them to every employee, especially when some of the guidebooks contain 200 300 pages! With the departments' help, Sandra currently oversees the process, tackling one manual at a time. She creates a table of contents page in IIB for each manual and links each section to Word documents and PDF files.

Sandra is very satisfied with the intranet's development. "The project has gone very well. It was a challenge to coordinate so many users, but there were very few technical difficulties, and Tech Support responded immediately within a day."
